3 Ways to Include Giving in a Successful Marketing Plan

The goal to any successful Marketing Plan is to see a true Return on Your Investment. GIVING, is one of the best investments to increase your ROI. Here are three ways to include GIVING as part of your successful marketing plan.

 

 

1.) Give strategically to show your appreciation throughout the year, not just during the holidays.

Finding different occasions during the year, (Birthday, Anniversary, National Pizza Day, etc) to show your clients your appreciation, when they least expect it, can make you stand out from your competition.

Showing your love for your clients multiple times a year, will surprise and delight them even more. 

Reminding them how grateful you are that they are your client can be as simple as sending a handwritten thank you note, it doesn't have to be a big expense.

 

 

2.) Give Thoughtfully to show you value them personally

Getting to know your client is the first step. Do they love to travel, read, exercise ... play golf?

Choosing a gift that is thoughtful is very important. (You wouldn't want to send a ham to a vegetarian.).

Remember to choose a gift that they will like, not necessarily what you would want to receive.

 

 

3.) Give intentionally to show you value what they value

Giving donations to a foundation or special cause that your clients are passionate about can show your support in a very big way.

Sponsoring an event for their favorite non-profit organization, volunteering, selling tickets to a Gala, or helping raise money for research is another way to show your clients you are thinking of them.

Gifts come in all shapes and sizes, some are tangible and others are intangible (you cannot touch them physically). When you can give a gift that is meaningful and show your clients you support what is important to them, you will create a more sustainable relationship that can increase your business.
